Sofiah

Sofiah Thom, the founder of Bamboo, and living artfully, has been a Teacher, Practitioner and Performer in The Healing Arts internationally for over 10 years.  As an interdisciplanary artist with a degree in Dance Therapy from Naropa University, a year at the Tamalpa Institute in Expressive Healing Arts and a myriad of trainings in bodywork, Sofiah’s deep understanding of the body and somatics shows through her work.   Sofiah fuses dance, yoga, breathwork, expressive healing arts and tantric buddhism into her Healing Arts.  In 2008 Sofiah started Living Artfully, a not for profit organization, offering retreats and workshops in self-empowerment and expressive healing arts. Bamboo stands as the main hub for Sofiah and Living Artfully. Sofiah lives to inspire others to live authentically and be the shining brilliance that they are!  For a more extensive bio and background visit  www.sofiahthom.org
