Bamboo is located in Playa Dominical, Costa Rica, on the pacific coast, three and a half hours south of San Jose International Airport and two hours from the Osa Peninsula.  We are in the heart of a cute little beach town conveniently situated minutes from local accommodations and amenities.  Dominical and surrounding areas are famous for surfing, rainforest zip-line tours, waterfalls, snorkeling and scuba-diving.

Bamboo was built on top of our recycled container home, made from local Bamboo and hardwood.  This 1200 square foot dance floor lends itself for large groups of participants and plenty of open space to explore and play in.  The high standing roof creates shade from the hot sun and tropical rains, sloping from one end to the other, our roof reaches 14ft at the highest end inviting plenty of natural light and airflow to fill the space.   We have just sealed this our studio with specially fitted no- see-um netting to keep the bugs out!

We have a stunning view of the river and ocean from Bamboo.  Verdant greenery surrounds us.   Although we are in the heart of Dominical, Bamboo offers a safe haven, protected from the bustle and outside distractions.

We create the full package for your retreats, with sliding scale rates depending on your participant’s budgets.  These packages Include rides from the airport to Dominical, accommodations, catered food and/or lists of local restaurants, and tour scheduling and other activities in the area if you desire.
